Creamed Corn
I was shocked when we were ready to eat Christmas dinner and the kids were more excited about eating this corn than anything else. I even got a huge hug and a thank you from one of my boys! It’s rich and wonderful, and the creaminess is lovely.

Creamed Corn
Ingredients:
6 cups frozen corn
1 cup heavy (whipping) cream
1 cup whole milk
2 1/2 TBSP sugar
1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp pepper
few dashes of garlic powder
1/4 cup butter
2 TBSP flour
Directions:
Put corn, cream, milk, sugar, salt, pepper and garlic pepper into a large pot. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
While this is cooking, grab a little sauce pan and melt your butter over medium heat. Add the flour and stir together constantly. Add this mixture to the pot of other ingredients. Simmer together for a few minutes as it thickens.
Serve and enjoy!! We love this side when we are also having our garlic green beans, red potatoes roasted with rosemary or roasted asparagus.
