Oreo & Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Pizookie

Pizookies are one of our family’s very favorite desserts. They sub in for birthday cake on most birthdays around here. I hope you love these as much as we do!

Oreo & Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Pizookies

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/3 cup butter, softened

1/3 cup crisco shortening

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp baking soda

3 1/2 TBSP cocoa powder

1 1/2 cups flour

2 cups your favorite chocolate chips

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Mix together everything except for the flour, cocoa powder and chocolate chips. Once it is nice and creamy, add the cocoa and mix again. Then do the same with the flour. Stir in the chocolate chips.

Press dough into ramekins (oven safe shallow bowls). Makes about 8-10 pizookies.

Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes until the edges are set, but the middle is still gooey.

Pull out of the oven and serve immediately with a scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.
