Queso Dip

We love to find excuses to have this dip: Superbowl food, Cinco de Mayo, New Year’s Eve, anytime we need something to go with chips, veggies, taco salad, pretzel rolls, or tasty homemade sauce for macaroni and cheese. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Queso Dip

Ingredients:

32 oz velveeta cheese, sliced or cubed

1 lb ground beef

1 cup salsa (we like Herdez- medium heat)

1/2 cup milk (more if desired if you want a thinner sauce)

few dashes of pepper

1/4 cup cilantro, chopped

Directions:

Brown the ground beef in a deep frying pan until cooked through. Drain out grease. Add cheese, salsa, and pepper. Melt the cheese down a bit, stirring constantly. When the cheese is mostly melted, add the milk. Stir constantly until everything is smooth. Add in cilantro. Give a quick stir and serve.
