Summer Fun Club Tickets

Tickets to fun once your chores are done!!

Summer is in full swing over here at our house! Our older kids have been busy with camps, and our younger kids have been keeping ME busy and participating in our cooking classes! It's been a busy beginning, but so much fun!!

Most days I feel a bit like a cruise director, trying to get everyone where they need to be, playing with my little ones, while also trying to get some work done. It's tricky!! I want to show you some things that have really helped us out this summer and last, in case you are in the same boat. Or maybe you know someone who is!

A fun thing we did last summer, was to reward the kids chores being done with these Summer Fun Club tickets. Summer Fun Club can be as elaborate or simple as you'd like it to be.

This is what we did:

Each day we had a simple or sometimes more involved activity that they could look forward to once they were done with their work. Many of these rewards came straight from the Summer Bucket List.

I heard of this idea of Summer Fun Club from the Family Looking Up Podcast. I know one of their families even went so far as to make their own matching T-Shirts that said "Summer Fun Club" on them.

We try to keep it as simple as possible at our house. We often had the reward be watching a movie as a family on the couch with some popcorn, or ordering pizza. Super Easy.

Use them however is best for your family. You can even use the tickets themselves as chore charts if you want.
