Plant Based Recipes
The journey of plant based eating can feel overwhelming. I am a huge foodie, confident in the kitchen, and I have feel the overwhelm myself. What really helped was finding recipes I could use to ease into this lifestyle. Whether that means leaving out animal products completely or just trying to add in as many plants as possible, these recipes can help you map out a plan.
The most important thing for me is that I am eating as many plants as possible and that I can help my family to do the same. I really loved all the advice I got from Ali Essig (@plantwhys) in this podcast episode we did all about The What’s, the Why’s, and How’s of Plant Based Eating.
If you are like me, your family isn’t eating plant based along with you. There are many times you can make the same meal, but serve the meat on the side, or you can substitute plant milk for regular milk etc. You’ll see suggestions in parenthesis about how to avoid animal products completely, if that is what you are working towards.
I know this journey is not for everyone, I never thought I’d be on it! But it has been really amazing for me and I would love to help you along this road. Here are the recipes!!
